Chinese authorities have resumed rescue efforts near the Nepal-Tibet border, state media says, after fears that a newly formed lake of rising water could burst its banks halted operations.
The death toll has now risen to 475, Nepal Police says, more than 48 hours after flash flooding devastated the Himalayan border region.
